Our trains
Our start trains can be identified by their yellow, white and blue livery, as well as our green logo featuring our motto: Start.Land.Meer.
A total of 38 double-decker coaches and 8 diesel locomotives operate on this route. These are run on behalf of the Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen (LNVG), which owns the vehicles.

Quiet carriage
For a quiet and relaxed journey, we recommend using the quiet carriage, marked with this distinctive sign. Please note: Listening to loud music or making phone calls is not permitted here.
Bicycle carriage
This bike symbol indicates our bicycle carriages. Please note that due to limited space, only one bicycle per person is allowed and you will need an additional ticket for your bike.
Travellers with mobility constraints
This marked section offers space for people with mobility constraints, such as wheelchair users or those with prams. Low-floor boarding facilities on our vehicles and a boarding ramp on the control coach allow comfortable boarding at almost all stations. If required, our passenger attendants will be happy to assist with boarding and alighting.

We offer free Wi-Fi on our trains, keeping you well connected while travelling and allowing you to surf the internet during your journey.
